Landica began with firsthand experience inside federal land management — first as agency insiders, then as outsiders helping industry navigate the same system. We saw capable public servants working within processes that required them to manually reconstruct project context, interpret disconnected sources of authority, coordinate across specialized disciplines, and identify critical issues only after significant time and effort had already been invested.
That same experience showed us how these structural limitations affected applicants, communities, infrastructure projects, conservation efforts, and the quality of public decision-making.
We are building Landica because the people responsible for consequential land decisions deserve tools designed around the reality of their work. Modernization should give review teams better access to authoritative information, reveal relevant considerations earlier, improve coordination, and make decisions more structured, explainable, and defensible.

Our founders combine direct federal land management experience with expertise in product development, artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and organizational growth. Together, they are building Landica for review teams that need to move faster without sacrificing defensibility, institutional control, or sound decision-making.
Daniel began his career in technology, building and exiting a software company before pivoting to public service with the Bureau of Land Management. That path — from tech founder to federal land manager — gave him a firsthand understanding of both the institutional complexity of permitting and what it takes to build software that works inside real government operations. At Landica, he leads product strategy, user experience, and go-to-market.
Joseph spent his career managing federal land and realty work, complex authorizations, and agency processes inside the Bureau of Land Management. He understands the operational realities of permitting from the inside — how work is organized, how decisions are made, and where the system places unreasonable burdens on capable staff. He leads agency operations, client delivery, and implementation at Landica.
Aaron thrives where digital systems meet the physical world. That's taken him from contributing to a scrappy multi-agency science mission at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, to operating internal systems used by two million Amazon employees worldwide, to launching a managed backend service at Amazon Web Services. Fluent in geospatial data, platform architecture, and distributed systems, he leads technical platform engineering and AI capabilities at Landica.

Landica is advised by former state directors, national program leaders, division chiefs, and senior public-sector executives who have managed complex land-use, infrastructure, and regulatory programs from inside government. Their experience gives the company institutional perspective, strategic guidance, and a clear understanding of how agencies evaluate, coordinate, and advance projects.
Nikki is an executive leader with nearly 30 years of federal land management experience across field, state, and national roles. She has led complex national programs, resolved high-profile issues, and advanced modernization across the Bureau of Land Management. Her experience includes organizational transformation, national policy development, the launch of the Experienced Services Program, and leadership of major agency initiatives.
Juan is a veteran public lands leader with decades of experience across the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, and The Nature Conservancy. As Utah BLM State Director, he oversaw the management of approximately 23 million acres of public land. He brings deep expertise in collaborative land-use solutions, public policy, partnerships, conservation, and organizational leadership.
Mike brings more than 25 years of experience with the Bureau of Land Management, including senior leadership roles across multiple states and in Washington, DC. As Director of the National Land and Realty Program, he led federal policy and program direction for land disposals, rights-of-way, and other land-use authorizations. He now advises Landica on land strategy, agency coordination, and the realities of implementing permitting reform within government.
June is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and proven senior leader with over 30 years’ experience in environmental and federal land management roles across local, state, and national government. She has led multiple complex programs in diverse states, resulting in common sense and durable policy solutions. She brings strong expertise in collaboration and facilitation with a focus on balancing the needs of the land and needs of users. She is a strong advocate for constructive dialogue and collaborative problem-solving that builds trust and support for solutions that make sense for all parties.
